Here is the thing. . . I for one, find this territory a little muddy and mucky. Very much like overly wet clay. It's just a really BIG mess. Period. There is no other way around it other than tossing it off to the side and grabbing some fresh clay while you let that one dry out a little.
Most business owners, at least small business owners, know how difficult political situations can be and how your personal political thoughts and how you present yourself affects your business. So my word of advice is, yes get involved, but slice that slab of clay very so slowly. You don't want to end up with a bloody mess and have to start all over again.
